The stage is crumbling

Our natural environment on earth is the stage upon which we play out our lives.  If we allow the recklessness of large corporations and companies to cause any damage, much less the severe and lasting damage caused by the Deepwater Horizon explosion, we are destroying the stage upon which we play out our lives, and the play will not go on for much longer. The stage will collapse and the actors will sicken and die. To not take the most effective action we can now is to allow the death of out natural resources and will surely result in a slow (but rapidly quickening) suicide of the human race.  Please, please do not allow this to happen, but show us your leadership now.
